SO, WHAT’S THE SCOOP? A WALL'S HISTORY
Wall’s hasn’t always been purveyors of the delightful frozen treats we all know and love, today. In fact, you were more likely to find a string of sausages in their shop window at one point.
But way back in the summer of 1913, T Wall and Sons had a eureka moment. They realised that sausages aren’t the most refreshing snack on a hot day. Instead, they had the brilliant idea to start serving up scoops of delicious ice cream to cool down their customers, and save a good few jobs too. But, that idea had to be put on ice. It wasn’t until 1922, after World War One, that ice cream was back on the menu.
It was then that Wall’s Ice Cream was born and our delicious ice creams were soon delighting the good people of London. At first, they made their way through the streets via horse and cart, and then by our famous ‘Stop Me and Buy One’ tricycles. In fact, the garage used to store the iconic tricycles is still being used. And you might even see a tricycle in the city during the summer, if you keep your eyes peeled.
As time marched on, Wall’s Ice Cream found the freezer space in people’s hearts, homes and in cinemas all over town. Fruity Wall’s ice lollies popped up next and began a flurry of innovation. We got busy and dreamt up some of our most famous and best loved Wall’s Ice Cream products like the Twister, and oddballs like Bubble O’ Bill. And what fun we had.
It's thanks to all the years of hard work and ingenuity of the clever clogs at Wall’s Ice Cream we’ve been able to create the icons that are loved around the world. And it gives us something to live up to every day. So, you never know when we might stumble upon a new ice cream or ice lolly recipe that’s that everyone is going to love. And that’s exactly what gets us out of bed in the morning.
It’s always been our mission to put as many smiles on people’s faces as we can. And it’s turned into one heck of a journey. Wall’s ice creams are now sold in over 50 different countries around the world. And we go by all sorts of different names in each one. We’re known as Olá in Portugal, Streets in Australia, and Kibon in Brazil and Argentina to name just a few.
But, whatever you want to call us, you’ll always be able to spot a Wall’s ice cream thanks to our legendary heart logo and the look of pure joy on whoever’s enjoying it. And we’re alright with that.

My Good Humor® ice cream product tastes weird. What should I do?
if you think there is something wrong with the Good Humor® products you purchased, drop us a note from the contact us page or give us a heads up on our consumer care line (1-800-931-2830).
How long can I store Good Humor® ice cream after opening?
Great question. As long as your Good Humor® product has never melted and been re-frozen and you’re enjoying it by the “Tastes Best Before” date, you should be all set. We do not recommend refreezing melted products because the flavor and consistency will be affected. And no one likes it when their Good Humor® bars are … affected. Here are a few tips to keep them as fresh as possible: At the supermarket, buy frozen foods last. Be sure the package shows no signs of thawing and refreezing. Ask to have your Good Humor® ice cream be bagged in plastic with other frozen foods. At home, immediately unpack the ice cream and place it in the coldest part of the freezer, not in the door where it is subject to more fluctuating temperatures.
I saw that you have a new no anti-growth hormone used in your cows claim on your packaging. Can you tell me more about that?
We have made a commitment to only use milk and cream from American cows that are not treated with artificial growth hormones. While our ice cream may meet this standard, suppliers of other ingredients like cookies, candies and sauces may not be able to make the same pledge. The FDA states that no significant difference has been shown between dairy products derived from rBST-treated and non-rBST-treated cows.
How do you come up with Good Humor® flavors and other new ice cream creations?
Ever since creating the first ice cream on a stick and ice cream truck, Good humor has been dedicated to developing a variety of flavors and formats to bring joy to you and your neighborhood.
